Drop in.

Give Sauce a few sounds, an entire sample library or one long studio jam. Your originals stay untouched.

It listens & sorts.

Waveforms, names and context guide every sound into Kick, Snare, Hihat, Clap, Cymbal, Percussion, Bass, Melody, Loops or Other.

It makes everything consistent.

Every accepted sample becomes normalized, softly clipped stereo 44.1 kHz / 16-bit WAV. Duplicates do not clutter the library.

It learns your taste.

Move a misplaced WAV to the right category. On the next launch Sauce renames it, updates the library and learns carefully from your correction.

Jams become ingredients.

Long recordings are archived in Jams and reveal hits, phrases and imperfect loops. The existing library fills only the roles that are missing.

Surprise out.

Smart Transpose, frequency balance and one clear 16-pad layout turn familiar sounds into fresh kits for MPC and MPC Sample. Reliable note families can also become playable MPC presets.

How to install

This final independent version may ask you to confirm that you trust the app.

    Download & unzip

    Download Sauce.zip, open it and drag Sauce.app into your Applications folder.

  2. 02

    Open with a right-click

    In Applications, right-click—or Control-click—Sauce.app and choose Open. Confirm Open once more.

  3. 03

    If macOS still blocks it

    Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, authenticate if requested and confirm.

  4. 04

    Start cooking

    You only need to approve Sauce the first time. After that, launch it normally and drop in your sounds.

Sauce requires macOS 13 or later and is currently optimized for Apple Silicon Macs.
